Ten Years ago, AAXA Technologies released one of the world’s first portable laser projectors featuring a low-powered RGB laser light-source and Silicon Liquid Crystal imaging technology.

Today AAXA Technologies has done it again, releasing the World’s Brightest Battery Powered laser projector.  The M8 Laser Projector features miniaturized cutting-edge RGB laser technology resulting in one of the world’s smallest but brightest RGB laser engines.  Mated to Texas Instruments DLP technology the M8 Laser is a true revolution in projector technology delivering an ultra-bright 1200 Laser Lumen image with exceptionally vibrant colors and capable of supporting 4K Resolution (native 1080P).

Laser is Brighter

The M8’s RGB laser light-source with DLP technology delivers more than 1200 Laser Lumens of brightness with an ultra-high color gamut.  Because image perception is based on both raw light as well as color vibrancy the image is perceptually brighter than LED, especially white LED projectors. The image is more colorful and vibrant, with a color gamut exceeding most projectors on the market.  Laser speckle (interference) has been reduced with onboard proprietary techniques.  In short the AAXA M8 laser projector produces a far superior image to LED Projectors, especially low end white LED Projectors.

Ultra Portable Mini Projector

The M8’s unique RGB laser light-source is an optically complex single architecture platform enabling the M8 to maintain a tiny form factor while producing massive brightness.  The M8 Laser is smaller yet brighter than its LED cousins while drawing the same amount of power.  Mated to its onboard battery system the M8 can delivery 2.5 hours of unplugged performance (ECO mode) with 1.1 hours of high brightness operation.

2.5 Hour Battery

The M8 features a robust 54 Watt Lithium Ion battery derived directly from high performance EV technology.  It is the same battery cell design found in some 9 second EVs.  The battery system supports over 1000 charge-cycles and delivers 2.5 hours of operation (eco mode) and 1.1 Hours of high brightness operation.

Android Onboard with Mirroring

The AAXA M8 features an Android operating system with app store enabling direct access to streaming apps, multiple file types, and network drive support.  Users can also wirelessly mirror their smartphone content (DMCA content cannot be wireless mirrored) or use the Type C port for hard-wired device mirroring.

USBC Direct Mirroring & Additional Features

The M8 also features a USBC video input for direct mirroring for Iphone 15, and Android phones.  Additionally features include an HDMI port, a micro TF card slot, and a USB port for local content.

Eye Safety Sensor

The M8 incorporates an intelligent eye-safety sensor that detects objects within its beam path and pauses the projected image when objects are detected.  A must for laser safety.

About AAXA Technologies

AAXA Technologies Inc was founded in 2008 as a developer and manufacturer of a new class of projector known as "micro" projectors and "pico" projectors. AAXA's core technology is based on small LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) imagers mated to LED (light emitting diode) and Laser light-sources that makes micro projectors and pico sized projectors possible. In 2010 AAXA launched the world's first laser pico projector and today remains a leader in mini-projector technology. AAXA holds several patents in optical and LCoS designs and manufactures the majority of its products in China, with core technological development occurring in both the Silicon Valley, California and China.

The AAXA M8 Laser Projector is available through AAXA's exclusive distributors and the AAXA Technologies website.
